Marne and Lexi are the mother/daughter duo behind your favorite frozen yogurt food truck in north county, Fro Yo By The Sea!
A shared love of frozen desserts evolved into a way to create healthier options of favorites, spend time together, earn some money having fun in their free time, and most importantly, create a platform to serve their local beach community!
Marne, owner of Fro Yo By The Sea, is MOST proud of being a local (both raised in Encinitas), woman-owned/operated business, and that my partner is my teenage daughter. “Our concept and menu is unique to our community and we do a lot to support our local organizations by sponsoring sports teams, helping our local schools raise funds, and feeding our local homeless and underserved community through various non-profits.”
As two Encinitas natives it is extremely important to them to give back. Fro Yo By The Sea actively contributes to their local community through sports team sponsorships, donating treats to Fill A Belly and local foster organizations, and helping local schools with their fundraising efforts.
Fro Yo By The Sea is known for serving frozen desserts, using only the best premium ingredients and locally sourced products. They serve fresh, acai bowls using San Diego-based The Roots acai and their frozen yogurt is a brand from Temecula. For their guests with dietary restrictions, they always have non-dairy and gluten-free selections available. They feature specials including Root Beer Floats, Homemade Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches and Dole Whip and vegan ice cream.
Their specialty is serving special events: corporate parties, weddings, birthday parties, school and sports fundraisers, large scale sporting events. But in their free time, they LOVE to serve it up curbside at the beach!
“Thanks a million to our customers for continuously supporting our adventure and showering us with love!”
